Information for New Members

Coledale Waves are a club that welcomes new members. We have an awesome community with supportive and friendly families and players. We do not tolerate poor or unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Our club is completely run by volunteers. We do a lot of work behind the scenes to keep our ground in the best possible state, and to form teams as best as possible. However, we are also a small club and expect our members to help out in different ways during the season.

Mini-Roos Parents

For new parents to mini-roos, our teams are coached and managed by the parents themselves, with support provided by the club. No soccer experience is required when the kids start off in their journey at U6 and U7, and coach clinics and courses are available for interested parents. A parent will need to volunteer to be a coach or manager for each team, otherwise the team will need to be changed.

Mini-Roos games are run on a Saturday morning.

We expect all parents to help out at different stages during the season. For home games parents need to help with field set-up and pack away, as well as canteen and BBQ duties.

New Players

At Coledale, we pride ourselves on being the most welcoming club on the south coast. We welcome players from all walks of life into our great community. However, our team sizes are limited and we will do our best to find a suitable placement for you to join.
